Partner & Manager

JohnnaLea is a partner and manager of Smooth Day Spa.

A licensed esthetician and nail technician, she serves her clients with care and compassion. In addition to her 25 years of experience in the day spa industry, JohnnaLea also has worked as a dental hygienist and vet tech. When not at Smooth she enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescued Italian Greyhound, and two cats, one of which resides at Smooth during the day. In her free time, she also enjoys pole dancing as sport and other aerial arts.

Esthetician

I am a licensed esthetician and a typical day involves me making my clients feel comfortable and confident in their skin with various treatments such as, facials, waxing, laser hair reduction, and eyelash enhancement, etc. I bring a calm, positive, and patient attitude to work. My passion for esthetics and strong work ethic brings dedication, high-quality results, and client satisfaction making me a reliable and valuable asset to Smooth. A few of my hobbies are cooking, gaming, and DIY self care. Most of my days outside of work include caring for my family: Brian, my husband; Adrian, my son; and our two hotdog dogs, Rudy and Ziggy! But in my free time, I also enjoy spending time with my twin sister! A fun fact about me is that I have 5 siblings and 3 of them are twins.  Personal motto: Better an “oops” than a “what if”!

Esthetician

I am an esthetician. My typical day involves a variety of hair removal including laser and waxing, as well as indulging in skin care during facials. I specialize in soft wax hair removal, and facial massage. My hobbies include spending time with my dog, cat, and family. I grew up in the valley riding horses and playing soccer. My personal motto is "self care is healthcare". 

Nail Technician

As a nail technician, I specialize in thoughtful, detail-driven nail care with a focus on keeping natural nails healthy and looking their best. A typical day includes manicures and pedicures, great conversations with clients, and making sure everyone leaves feeling confident, relaxed, and happy with their nails. My approach is all about clean prep, natural nail health, and taking the time to do things right so results look great and last. I believe quality is in the details, and I never rush the process. Outside of the salon, I’m big on self-care and love spending time with my family. I might be a little quiet at first, but once I warm up, I’m easygoing and love creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for everyone in my chair. Personal motto: Good nails, good vibes.
